Jack, you must really keep on writing like this. This is a new textual
form. I call it “signal system” prose. It is a cyber style suitable for the
web, analogous to music yet aware of techno, etc. It is science and
history, culture and personality, facts synthesizing fictions a vice versa.
I am sure that a lot of lurkers are listening to these broadcasts of yours
as people used to gather around big valve radios in the village square.
It is very Joycean – history and vision and cracks about hill-billies,
cargo-cult psycho-babble (how Joyce would have loved that phrase)
and the pony and trap brigade in the middle of the maths and the
claims to be a re-born god. No wonder the distraught Mr Farley and
poor Mr Ibison are a mite baffled and breathless with it all. With Scott
Littleton, Dan Smith, and d1494@copper.net forming an erudite Greek
chorus on occasion, we have here a kind of modern cyber-sonata-form
emerging. One only hope that soon the equally awesome Grenville Croll
will choose to make a contribution. As you will see from our re-broadcast
of "Sarfatti's Illuminati" we are doing our best to spread the word. As for
Dan Smith's UFO Aviary Iluminati Eschaton Meeting in DC (oh what a
four-in-one there is there!), our editors are preparing this broadcast as I
speak.
